Traffic loss / website visibility issue

    Hey all,

I am desperate. It happened so that we released a new website on 19th of May. Then we also applied some redirects and changed URL structure on 25th of May.

    We are a tiny company.

So we updated the content for 2 pages only. Other pages were left “as is”.

I sent website for re-crawling, did internal link building, etc.

As a result, the page that I really need to be indexed well, lost all its positions.
Google Search Console says, it does see the URL and has indexed it.

When I try searching for parts of text in Google, putting text in quotation marks, it does not find anything.

After more than a month, Google can locate only one paragraph of text from my page. As a result, in Google Search Console, I can see queries that are related to this particular paragraph and that is it. It does not even see the tagline.

Is it OK for Google not to see the content after a month period?

I can see this behaviour with other pages as well, where we did not change content, but facelifted the page only.

Instead, Google started ranking a press release for the search queries that I need for this particular landing page (though the quality of content is not high, as well as the page itself being a press release is not that relevant to the search query).

Nu Html Checker tells me that some pages have these errors: Element style not allowed as child of element body in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.) – can it be the cause for Google not being able to render content?

I am really anxious about this issue. I do not understand what we did wrong and why it is happening.

    Please advise..

    Thank you!
