Traffic Redirect Plugin?
-
Hi! I’m new to wordpress and have been working on transferring my Blogspot entries here. I read several articles online saying a plugin would be needed to redirect traffic from Blogspot to WordPress to ensure posts are not affected in Google Search results. The last article I read about this was in 2010. Since it’s 2013 now, I wanted to know if a plugin is still needed to redirect traffic from Blogspot blogs to WordPress? Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

FTP access and plugins are only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs. This is not new. It’s the way it’s always been.
There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install plugins.

Ah, okay. So is there any way for a member with a free account to successfully redirect traffic from an old Blogspot blog to a WordPress.com blog without a plugin? Or without joining WordPress.org?
