Tranfer my domain .com.br to wordpress

  I have my site http://www.institutovisaoevoz.com.br, it’s served on locaweb.com.br, but i want tranfer it to wordpress.com, how can i do it?

  P.S. If you can answer-me in portuguese, you will easy to me. Thanks.

  You can’t transfer a custom domain name registration to WordPress.COM – they are not set up for that

  But you can map your domain name to your blog here – your domain name needs to stay registered someplace else – see the instructions below for mapping ( $ 13.– US / year)

  Using this steps that u show-me can i edit my site and use the wordpress’s tools for change my sites layout, right?

  You would move your content onto WordPress.COM (if you have an existing WordPress.ORG installed site – you would export from there and import into a blog here)

  Once you have your content here – WordPress.COM becomes your Host – yes when your content is here you use all the tools here to update and change your content – Note: your visitors will see the custom domain name when they visit – BUT you will change and update your content on the base blog (your-site.wordpress.com)

  and you can map the domain name to your blog here most any time – but if you are exporting from your old site and importing to there – the domain name needs to stay at your old site – your old site needs to be reachable on the internet for things like pictures to transfer
