Transaction Fee

  Hi!. I am new at WP. I am operation out of Malaysia. I have enquiries about Transaction Fee. As I understand it, there will be no charge at all including transaction fee if using PayPal? But besides PayPal, does WP charge for using other payment gateways available in Malaysia such as iPay88, MOL and Hoolah?

  Hi there,

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  We do not charge transaction fees on WordPress.com, because we don’t process the payments, and if you have a self-hosted WordPress site, WordPress is just the name of the software you’re using, not a service provider that can charge you for anything.

  Whether or not there is a transaction fee will depend on the specific payment processor you’re using, so you need to contact that payment processor directly to find out what they charge.
