Hi there! I had a quick look at your site as it is now; I see that you have a range of extensions products in different categories.
In terms of transferring to WordPress.com, you’d definitely want the Business plan here so that you can make use of WooCommerce to get your shop in place:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/plan-features/business-plan/We do also offer a higher plan which comes with WooCommerce pre-installed, though I’m not entirely sure if you’d need the additional features that it brings. This is the information for the eCommerce plan:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/plan-features/ecommerce-plan/Both of these plans also come with 24/7 support available so you can ask questions anytime:
https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options/I do also see that you have a blog on your current site; you can absolutely bring that over too!
The general migration process has quite a few steps, I might summarise it like this:
- Create your site here on WordPress.com and use the Business plan for it.
- Stick with the free basic site address we offer for now – you can use your own domain later, when you’re ready to make the switchover live for visitors
- Install and set up WooCommerce on your WordPress.com site so that you can later export your products from Shopify and import them to your WordPress.com site:
https://wordpress.com/support/introduction-to-woocommerce/ - Choose your preferred theme for your WordPress.com site:
https://wordpress.com/support/themes/ - Importing content: It looks like you only have seven “non-store” pages to import. I’m not sure if Shopify offers you a way to export your pages, but that’s worth checking. We have some general information about importing pages here:
https://wordpress.com/support/import/ - Importing your products: It looks like Shopify do offer an export function for products; this should provide you with a CSV file that you can use with the WooCommerce default product importer:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/ - The product export doesn’t also bring over your previous customer and order data, but WooCommerce has a couple of possible options for this:
- Once you have the data and shop set up as you want, you can bring over your domain name to make the switch live.
This isn’t an exhaustive list; the WooCommerce website itself also has a detailed guide for migrating from Shopify to WordPress.com (and WooCommerce):
https://woocommerce.com/posts/migrate-from-shopify-to-woocommerce/Lastly, I did want to mention briefly that we offer a service called Built by WordPress.com which can get the site migrated in and set up for you; if this is something that could help you then we do have more information about it here:
