Transfer

    Hello,
    I recently had a web designer create a website for my company. I am now taking it over and was sent a zip file to transfer. When I try to upload the zip into the ‘Import Content’ page on my WordPress I receive a 413 error.
    If you can please help me use this zip file to transfer the website, that would be great.

    Hey there! Will you be hosting the site here with us? If so, I would recommend this option for getting the site imported properly. If you don’t have that option, I’d recommend buying the Business Plan, which you’ll likely need for the plugins and theme your designer may have installed, then contacting support to see if they can work with the file you have.

    Bear in mind our hosting includes SSL, security, maintenance, spam filtering, and direct support. So it’s a bit different than running your own DIY copy of WordPress with another host. If you have questions on the differences, we’re happy to help.
