Transfer

    Hello!
    I currently own the domain for http://www.blacklensmultimedia.com, but it expires today, 20/02/2023.
    I would like to transfer that, if possible, to wordpress. Shall I wait until tomorrow to buy the domain in WordPress directly? Or what would you recommend?
    My domain provider was not listed.

    Hi there,

    Do you have a site to transfer as well as the domain? I did not see a site when I visited because blacklensmultimedia.com is currently expired so I was not able to confirm on my own.

    One thing to be aware of is that when a domain expires it’s not available right away. Instead there is a “redemption period” of about 3 months before it goes on sale again to the public. The good news is that you can still transfer your domain, even if it’s expired. There is a two week grace period where you can transfer the domain so that you don’t have to renew it at your current provider, but can instead pay your new provider.
