Transfer a Blog

  Hi,
  I need to transfer a blog to another user but the option ‘Transfer Blog’ is not available.

  Hi there,

  If you’re looking to transfer a blog to another user, you need to add that user as administrator of your site first:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/#transfer-domain-to-another-administrator-on-the-site

  I have an admin account on that blog … still no option to “Transfer Blog” .
  Who has permission to transfer a blog?

  Can you confirm the blog you’re trying to transfer is osciasilo.wordpress.com?

  I just noticed I gave you a wrong link, here is one that should be more helpful ( sorry 🙏):

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  If you hover your mouse over the blog list on the My Blogs page (https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs), you should see the “Transfer Blog” option appear in the column Address.

  Yes the blog I am trying to transfer is osciasilo.wordpress.com.

  All I see when I hover over osciasilo.wordpress.com in the blog list is “Leave Blog”.

  My guess is that you’re an admin, but not the creator of the blog.

  I’ve added myself as an admin with another account to a blog I own, and I see the same thing as you.

  It appears the only user able to transfer the blog is the creator.

  That’s what I was afraid of. I don’t have access to the account we believe is the creator account
