transfer a domain

  Hello, I would like to conect (not transfer) the domain to another provider but it tells me that it is blocked. I have registered it from wordpress few days ago. What I can do?

  Hi –

  No problem. So, there’s a restriction on domain transfers set by ICANN. It’s internet-wide and not unique to WordPress.com. A domain has to be 60 days old before it can be transferred.

  If the domain was registered here at WordPress.com, you can easily point it to another provider by editing the DNS records.

  Do you know which host you’re going to point the domain to? What is the domain involved?

  Click on My Sites – Manage – Domains – Edit DNS
