transfer a domain from Wix to WordPress (change name servers)

  Hi there,
  I transferred my domain from Wix to WordPress and purchased the domain mapping successfully but my DNS need to be updated and I can’t change the name servers from Wix. I’ve been searching information in forums and contact-support but this is all that I’ve found (reply from wix team):

  Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the Name servers of a domain which was purchased from Wix.
  Please note: If you have a Wix domain, click here for instructions on how to transfer it to a different host.
  Once you will transfer your domain to a domain hosting company you will need to ask your domain host to change the Name Servers of your domain.

  We cannot accept incoming domain transfers, and we need the name servers to be directed to us to map the domain.

  In this case, I’d recommend transferring your domain to a different registrar who will give you full control over the domain your own.
