Transfer a Domain Name?

  I bought a domain (a1689baptist.com) through GoDaddy. Can I transfer that domain to WordPress? What’s the cost to transfer it to / maintain it with WordPress?

  While we register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the name registered at your current registrar. You can use the domain for your site here at WordPress.com by mapping the domain, as explained here:
