transfer a domain name between two wordpress sites

  I wanted to create a new website with a new domain name. But, by mistake, I bought the domain name under my already existing wordpress site. So now it is a subdomain to that site… How can I transfer the domain name to my new wordpress site? I can’t map it because wordpress then says that it’s already registered to a wordpress user (which I know because it’s mine). Does someone know how I can transfer it?

  We can move it for you. Just so we do it right, specifically which domain do you want to move to specifically which WordPress.com blog?

  Thank you for your response!
  However, I found it already (I forgot to post the solution, I was too relieved I found it :)) … I found it in the menu domain > my domains > my upgrades > and then transfer. Now it seems to be okay, the new domain name is now connected to my new wordpress website. Thanks again though!
