Can I transfer a domain that is about to expire to WordPress.com?

  I own several domains that I want to tie in to my new blog. They are about to expire with the current registrar. Can I transfer (and renew) the domains to (with) WordPress.com?

  Thanks…I cannot find any info on this in the WordPress Codex.

  I’m sorry but WordPress.com does not accept incoming domain transfers at this time. So, what you should do is renew the domain registrations where they are and setup domain mapping here at WordPress.com:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
