Transfer a Domain to WordPress.com

    Hi,
    My client is the owner of the domain 1001food.de whitch is hosted at Strato.de. We tried to use this domain for WordPress site 1001foodde.wordpress.com and mapped it in WordPress.com as the main domain.
    Now, as domain mapping is not supported at Strato.de we cancelled this domain and want to transfer it to the host WordPress.com. From Strato, we got an AuthCode.
    Please tell us, how to get this domain to WordPress.com.

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid it’s not possible to transfer the domain to us, as we can’t accept incoming domain transfers.

    If you can’t map the domain from Strato, you’ll need to transfer it to a different registrar like GoDaddy or Tucows domains, and then you can change the name servers there so the mapping will work.
