Transfer blog from Blogger to wordpress.org

  I have a blog in Blogger, and I would like to transfer to wordpress.org. What is the best way to do so? Change to WP.com then WP.org? or I need to do the post one by one?

  follow steps:
  1.Purchase Domain & hosting for WordPress blog.
  2.Install WordPress
  3.import all the content from blogger blog to new WordPress blog.

  No need to go for WP.com then WP.org, there is blogger to wordpress importer tool is available to do it directly.

  And please note that all support for self-hosted WordPress.org installs is given at http://wordpress.org/support/ and not in these forums. Here on WordPress.com we use different software (a specialized form of the MU platform) so cannot help with self-hosted sites. Good luck with your blog!
