transfer blog from username to its own account
-
I login to my account with username “menstoncgbc” and password. I have an email address associated with this account.
Within this account I have 3 different blogs. I want blog “menstonrmf.wordpress.com” to be taken out of this account and run as stand alone with it’s own new email address. I can’t transfer it to a new account because “menstonrmf.wordpress.com” already exists. I would normally experiment but I daren’t in case I completely lose access to the account.
Do I need to set up a new account? Say “newmenstoncgbc”. I’ve tried to create a new account “menstonrmf”. But it says that account already exists (which it does). I don’t want to litter wordpress.com with loads of temporary accounts.Regards Mike
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Once a site is created, its name also can’t be used for an account, so you’ll first need to create a new account with a different name, then you’ll be able to transfer the site to it: https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
