Transfer blog posts from wp.com to wp.org
-
Based on the articles that I have read, it is not possible to implement a shopping cart on wp.com; however, the plugins are available on wp.org.
Is it possible to transfer my blog posts and information to wp.org without starting all over? I need assistance with this.
Thanks.

Yes it is. You begin by hiring a web host and setting up a free software install from WordPress.org. After you have set it up and equipped it with a theme and plugins you export your content out of the WordPress.com free hosted blog and import it into your new WordPress.org site.

WXR exports from WP are not imported to WP.com correctly. I would guess .org is exactly the same, in fact I expect .com is newer code than .org right?
I’m in the same sit, can’t really move to self host
