    Hi,

I want to upgrade my blog ‘http://101creations.wordpress.com’ to ‘http://101creations.com’ by purchasing a with a third party hosting. What would happen to my existing RSS subscribers once the blog is transferred. Will the RSS Subscribers be automatically upgraded? He have not burnt my feeds using FeedBurner.

    Regards,
    Minal

No, they will not be automatically redirected to the new blog if they have subscribed to your RSS feed. They will have to subscribe to the new feed.

There is a trick that you can use with the domain mapping upgrade to redirect your visitors – RSS feeds included – to your new blog though: http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/redirecting-your-blog/ .

    Hi thesacredpath,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I followed the link, but didn’t find a solution to my query. Will the process of Domain Mapping given in the above link, transfer my RSS subscribers to the new blog? If there is some other method, could you please help me find the process.

    Thanks,
    Minal

If you domain map, then your RSS feed will redirect. Whether or not all feed aggregators/readers will honor that redirect, I do not know. They should, but I simply do not know for sure.
