Transfer Code for Domain Transfer not being Sent to Email Address

Hello,
I have had an issue with the EPP Code being sent to my current email address so that I may transfer my domain to my new host. I tried a couple of weeks ago, and clicked on the Request Code button but it never arrived. I have tried again today but as so far still no luck.
Can anyone help me or explain why this email is not being sent??? My email address is provided by Australian provider Internode and my address finishes in @internode.on.net… Is there an issue with sending the code to this type of email address?
