transfer '.com' followers?

Can I transfer my .com followers to my .org site? I read that you can if you have jetpack installed and connected to wordpress.com, which I do. Has anyone had success with this? Thanks!

Of course, there have been many bloggers every day who have requested this and Staff have delivered. Searching would prove that to you. lol :D
Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and post the relevant URL(s) into this thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. I tagged this thread for their attention.
Optionally, on your WordPress.com site from which you’ll want to transfer your followers, post a notice telling your site’s followers that you’ll be moving, and that their subscriptions will be going along with you. This is because, while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site, which they can do if you’ve added the Subscriptions widget. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/
