Transfer content from old domain

    Help! I inadvertently created a unneeded site (resourcedvintage.wordpress.com on top of purchasing my own domain name (resourcedvintage.com), which I want to do, and paying twice to redirect people from my old site (cardamonefive.wordpress.com) and my new, inadvertently created site (resourcedvintage.com) to my new domain name (resourcedvintage.com). I am not seeing contact when I type resourcedvintage.com. Further when I check the domain name here, everything looks good, but it says I am missing content. I need to transfer content from resourcedvintage.wordpress.com to resourcedvintage.com and eliminate resourcedvintage.wordpress.com. Please help!!!

    Sorry. A few corrections to the above:

    1) the inadvertently created site is resourcevintage.wordpress.com, not resourcedvintage.com
    2) I meant “content” not “contact” on line five

    I reviewed your resourcedvintage WordPress.com account, and I found that you deleted the cardamonefive.wordpress.com blog and https://resourcedvintage.wordpress.com/ is still there but the custom domain resourcedvintage.com was canceled and refunded. I’m sorry I didn’t catch this in time before the cancelation! When a domain is canceled, it is usually placed back into the public pool within a few days or a week. How long it takes depends on how fast the registrar processes the change and how long whatever domain seller you’re using to search for it again takes to pick it back up and show it as available again. The timing tends to vary. Normally what you would need to do is just wait for it to show up as available again by checking manually at the following link and repurchase as soon as it allows you to:

    In your original help request, you mentioned that resourcedvintage.wordpress.com was unneeded, but that looks like the one with content and the one you want to keep. Keep in mind the *.wordpress.com name is the base and a custom domain gets mapped over the top of it. To make sure I understand correctly, is your end goal to map the resourcedvintage.com custom domain to your resourcedvintage.wordpress.com site?
