transfer content from old to new wordpress.com blog

  Madam, Sir,

  We had a previous blog on wordpress.com (jeanquirit.wordpress.com ) and created a new version of it under jeanquir.wordpress.com. We are happy with the content of the latter but we would like to have it under the 1st url (jeanquiriIT.wordpress.com ). We firt thought that we could achieve this via your assisted transfer service but after reading the description, it seems to us that it doesn’t meet our need. Do you have a service enabling your customers to transfer their blog from an ancient to a new wordpress.com blog ? Can you please tell us how to proceed to make sur we KEEP our content and have the url we want ?

  Assuming you still have access to the original blog, you can follow these instructions for Importing WordPress content from the newer to the older.

  If you feel you want to empty the original url of content first before you import the newer site content, here is the method you can use: Empty Site
