Transfer data from WIX blog site to WordPress.com blog

  Hi, we currently have a WIX blog that we have had since 2015. This platform is not so user-friendly and we would like to know if it is possible to move my posts, images, etc to WordPress blog without having to retype all my posts information?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, you can import from Wix following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-wix/

  My question is, I already started a blog page on WordPress blog page at: http://www.hpproserv.home.blog. Is this the same page that i would import the wix blog info to? Is this URL the same URL I will have after the import?

  My wix blog is free and I do not have a domain name, I just use the domain URL they gave me (https://hpproserv7.wixsite.com/hpproservblog). However, we do have a domain for our regular company website which was created with WordPress. Our company website domain is http://www.hpproserv.com. Will my wordpress blog be connected to my company’s website?

  Yes, you can import into any WordPress.com site, so if that’s the URL you want to import to, go for it. :) It will still remain that URL after you import.

  If you’d like to have your blog appear as hpproserv.com instead, you can either map the domain to it https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ (keeping it registered where it is now) or transfer the domain’s registration to us: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
