Hi there. I few weeks ago, I set up a wp blog. It appears that I have now 2 sites. 1. delicioushealthwithalex.worpress.com AND http://www.delicioushealthwithalex.com
Both are live, but I am working from the .com site.
I now wish to change host from Wild West Domains (which WP set up, so I don’t have login details) to HostGator.
My dashboard is confusing, and it is not giving me the option to change host.
Could you please help me?

Hi Alex,
It looks like you may have set up two entirely different accounts here with us, one with your primary blog (the delicioushealthwithalex.wordpress.com) and one with another blog which is hosting the domain delicioushealthwithalex.com.
In order for you to manage your domain, you’re going to need to get access to that second account. Our security procedures requires that I not provide any details about the account unfortunately, however I can tell you that we would have required you to use a different email address when you set that account up and since you purchased the domain name we would have emailed that address with your receipt.
If you go to our Lost Password form right here: http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and try resetting your password for your secondary account, you may be able to log in right away. If you keep having problems however, we do have an account retrieval option which you can link to from that page. It will give you the various options we have for regaining access to that account.
Once you’re in to both accounts, just come back here and let me know. I can walk you through your various options for how to deal with your domain!

Here is what I found:
The wordpress.com site is under my Business account ZigoZago as an additional site. This one I do not maintain and I think I should delete. I have email and password for this.
The domain account for delicious alex is separate (delicioushealthwithalex.com) . This one I wish to transfer the domain to another host.
Is that possible?

Do you have the email address and password for the account which has the domain delicioushealthwithalex.com? The separate account from your business one? If so, then yes I can absolutely help you transfer that domain.
If you don’t, then you will need to go through that account recovery process I mentioned earlier.

So that you are aware, the domain name delicioushealthwithalex.com does not appear to be in the account which you are writing in from. The blog delicioushealthwithalex.wordpress.com however is in this account. These are two different sites, and I would hate for you to get confused.
If you choose to delete a site, you are welcome to. Keep in mind however that deletions at WordPress.com are completely permanent. Your blog name will be retired and cannot be used again by you or anyone else.
If you are absolutely sure you won’t use that blog name, then you can feel free to delete it by following the directions right here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

Yes, I am writing from the account that contains both Zigozago and Delicioushealthwithalex. But there is no content on the delicioushealth one.
I am writing my posts only from the separate WP account. That account is delicioushealthwithalex.com and is hosted via WP at Wild West Domains.
That domain I need transferred to my new host.The blog delicioushealth.wordpress.com on this account here I want to delete, without affecting zigozago. I have passwords for all the accounts.
Sounds so very convoluted…

Ok, I have deleted the blog I no longer use (on this account).
Could you please help me get in formation on how to transfer domain hosting to another host? WP uses Wild West domains. As this is WP hosting, I don’t have any of the IP addresses or emails with cpanel info from Wild West. How do I initiate transfer in this case?
