Transfer Domain

  Hi,

  I am new to this and I keep changing my name servers to host my domain at Dreamhost but it does not seem to change on WordPress. Why is this happening?

  Although tcaerial.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. It can takes up 72 hours for a domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet and it’s not uncommon for the last place to flush their DNS caches to be your own ISP . Also note that transferring a domain is only possible if it’s been more than 60 days since the domain was registered.

  You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ Provided you have done the correct set up what’s important during this stage is to be patient.

  Hi Ryan,

  As timethief mentioned, it can take up to 72 hours for domain changes to take effect everywhere. In the meantime, you may still see your WordPress.com site when you visit your domain.

  I checked your domain settings and those Dreamhost name servers are saved correctly, and I see your Dreamhost site when I visit the domain.

  Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
