Transfer domain

  Hello,

  A couple months ago i purchased a domain with namecheap and mapped it with wordpress. Since I don’t like the visuals available with wordpress i want to move this domain to tumblr. I have already put the A record and CNAME according to the instructed here: https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/9247/2208/how-do-i-use-my-domain-with-my-tumblr-account

  Tumblr has already approved the domain however when i enter my site it stills redirects me to wordpress. Is it because the mapping is still on with wordpress? What happens is that i am afraid of canceling the mapping and then regretting it so i was hoping that could be delayed, but I would like to know if that’s the problem.

  Hi there,

  I checked canelaapparel.com and it is now directing to your Tumblr site. It may have taken a bit for the nameservers to update after you changed them – which is why you probably still saw your WordPress site.

  Let me know if you have any other questions or issues. Also, if you want me to remove the mapping subscription from your account, I’d be happy to.
