The help information says ‘go to my site and click on domains menu.’ I’ve searched MY SITE and nothing directs me to the domains menu to start the transfer. Please advise.

Thanks for your response micawbr. Unfortunately these 2 sites were useless and is why I was asking for additional help. The 1st link says “this domain isn’t available.” Yet WordPress has all the information showing my domain!
The 2nd link explains the process, but doesn’t guide the transfer either. I sent an e-mail to “support@wordpress.com”.
I received a response that this is an unresponsive email site. Now I need to call support. I’ll get it done, but finally I may be jumping through the last hoop to find answers.

I am unable to contact a live person or an e-mail response to assist me with getting my domain (1) unlocked, (2) get transfer approval e-mail (3) request and receive the EPP transfer Authorization Code (4) update the name server.
The 2 sites giving this information don’t work – believe me I’ve tried multiple times even though Word Press shows my entire domain information as active.
Please assist me with this simple request.

Perhaps I am asking the question:
My domain is registered with WordPress.com. My host is “Blue Host” – – I don’t want to transfer my domain OUT OF Word Press.com.I want to transfer my hosting from Blue Host to another host. I need the domain privacy unlocked to point my name server to that host.
Please advise how I can get the privacy unlocked. Thanks so much, Neva

My domain is registered with Word Press.com. It is NOT registered with my current host (Blue Host). Please help me get access to “redirect my name servers” to my new host. Currently it is Privacy Locked. Only Word Press.com can assist me with redirecting my name servers. Please help me complete the change to my name servers ASAP.

Hi @nevafels, we can help with all of that.
However this domain is not associated with the user “nevafels” . You may be the owner, but if you are, you are logged into the wrong account. And we can’t allow just anyone to change settings for another domain.
Can you log out, then log back in using the correct account? Use the email address that gets notifications.
Once you have done that, if you need more help let us know here.

I received an email from Denise. She asked me to reply to her reply to her there, but that is an unresponsive email for WP. In answer to her question, yes I received and added the Authorization code and the privacy was unlocked. I also uploaded my files via FileZilla to the IPage host. The blog is still pending registry approval status. Please help as you can see my blog has been down for more than the 10 days it was supposed to take for this transfer.

Please stop sending me emails regarding how to get the authorization code. As I stated twice, I received and implemented the Authorization code “as explained in the forum. Doing an easy copy/paste of information that has been done isn’t productive an a waste of time for me and your support staff.
I’m getting messages that everything has been completed and just waiting for someone to activate the blog. What I need if help in making sure there isn’t something else that needs to be done to get my blog working again.My blog has been “pending” for almost two weeks and this is unacceptable for my business.

It looks like the transfer has gone through now. I’ve checked this domain – retireforthefunofit.com – and it’s no longer registered with us. According to whois it’s now registered with Domain.com:

Domain transfers can sometimes take a little while but two weeks sounds like a long time. Sorry about that and thanks for your patience. Let us know if we can do anything else for you.
