  • Hi there,

The domain, senihome.co, expired on 23 June and has since been cancelled and removed from your account.

If you want to transfer the domain we will first need to get it back from the registrar and renew it, and then you will be able to transfer it. There is an $80 recovery fee to restore an expired domain, on top of the regular cost of renewing it. Let me know if you agree to pay that fee and I can email you with further instructions.

    Hi..

Okay but then if that’s the case why can’t i purchase the .co from other platforms?..

Since its expires shouldn’t it be on the market?

    Thank you,
    Simran

  • Domain expiration is a process that can take several weeks to complete. When it expired, it first went through a grace period where you’d still have been able to renew it without paying an extra fee.

Currently it’s in Redemption. During this time you can still get it back if you pay a fee, but our registrar is also trying to sell the domain at private auction.

If you don’t pay to get it back and it isn’t sold at auction it will go into a final stage where the registrar prepares to delete the domain from the domain registry. And only once the domain is deleted from the registry (which can still be another 2 months) will it be available to register somewhere else again.

    Domain Expiration

When you allowed the domain to expire you gave up ownership of the domain, along with any rights or claims over the domain. Unless you pay the fee to recover it the registrar can do with it whatever they want. They don’t even have to release it if they have a reason to hold onto it, and even if they release it, someone else can buy it before you are able to, so paying for recovery is really the only way to ensure that you’ll get that domain back.
