Transfer Domain

  I have mulitple two year prepaid domain names through GoDaddy. How can I transfer these domains without being double charged? I would like to take advantage of the 15% new user discount that expires today.

  Your existing domains can be transferred from GoDaddy to WordPress.com with these steps:

  Incoming domain transfers are a feature of paid plans — so you will need to upgrade in order to initiate the transfer. The original expiry date will remain in place and we will automatically renew each domain for another year once the transfer process has successfully completed.

  It’s worth noting that newly registered domains are transfer locked for the first 60 days (standard practice across domain registrars). As long as you registered the domains 60 days ago or more, the transfer option should be available. Domain mapping can be used if they aren’t ready for transfer just yet.
