transfer domain

  I received a transfer code from you to transfer to GoDaddy, but when I enter it on their site I’m getting a message: ‘Domains with this extension aren’t transferable.’ I called GoDaddy but they said the error is on your end.

  What is the address of the domain you’re trying to transfer? You can’t transfer the free address siskstudios.wordpress.com. You can export content from that site and import that content into a site/domain elsewhere that’s running the WordPress.org software.

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of siskstudios.com?

  If GoDaddy’s system is telling you a domain with this (.com) extension isn’t transferable, that’s a problem on their end. Domains with the .com extension are most definitely transferable, so if GoDaddy’s system thinks they’re not, that’s something they need to fix.

  On our end your domain is unlocked, privacy is disabled, and you’ve received the transfer code we sent you, so there’s absolutely nothing on our end preventing a transfer from being initiated.
