Transfer Domain

  Is there a way to transfer my domain from my hosting company to wordpress.com. I don’t want to pay any another $12.00 a year on top of my hosting plan. Can I transfer my domain and pay the 17.00 a year?

  Hi. If you want your site to be hosted by WordPress.com, but use a domain name, you do not pay for a hosting plan with your existing hosting company.

  You can buy the domain mapping upgrade from WordPress.com and continue to pay for the domain name only from your existing company (like I do). In my case, the price is almost the same per year.
