  You can work on your new free site https://patstestingzone.wordpress.com/ (when you have launched it). After clicking the “Launch site” button make sure that you leave blank the field at the top that says “Enter a name or keyword”. Instead just click on “skip purchase” at the bottom right next to your new free address. When you’re ready you can upgrade that site to a paid plan to map/transfer the domain you already own.
