Transfer Domain

    I am thinking about transfering my domain from Weebly to WordPress. I want to have the site created and ready to go before I switch to WordPress so I won’t have any downtime on the website. Is there an option to do this?

    Hi @lightsnight, no problem. You’re welcome to create your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

    I do recommend getting a plan earlier on if you’ll need it, since they have other features you might find useful, including direct support:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

    Then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready, and then you can map or transfer the domain.
