Transfer Domain

  I had 3 strokes in 2022 and 2023. The parts of my brain that let me manage websites are all screwy at this time. I am trying to transfer a domain to my ex-sis-in-law for her business and so she can manage it from now on. However, the email for the authorization code is NOT coming to my email address.

  If you’re not receiving the authorization code:

  • You can check your spam or junk folder in case the email landed there. Sometimes, domain-related emails get filtered.
  • If the email still isn’t coming through, confirm that the domain’s contact email is up to date. If needed, update it and then request the code again.

  Hi!

  As the domain zillianswickingoils.com is not attached to any WordPress.com site, you will not see the Users section for this site.

  To transfer the domain zillianswickingoils.com, click the WordPress (W) icon in the upper left corner of your dashboard. Then, select “Domains” from the left sidebar and search for “zillianswickingoils.com” in the search box. You can also go directly to the Domains page via this link- https://wordpress.com/domains/manage.

  Once you see your domain listed, click the three dots under “Actions” next to it and select “View Settings.” On the next page, you’ll find the “Transfer” option in the right sidebar—click the Transfer button.

  Transfer a Domain Not Attached to a Site – https://wordpress.com/support/domains/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/#transfer-a-domain-not-attached-to-a-site

  I can’t find the ‘Users’ at all.

  For the domains that are attached to a site, you can find the Users section for a particular site by following the steps in this support document – https://wordpress.com/support/navigate-wordpress-com/#access-the-sites-list

  We have now reset the transfer code and emailed the new one to you. Please visit your new provider’s website to provide them with the code and start the transfer to their platform.
