Transfer Domain

  I am trying to transfer domain to another registrar and I do not have the option to unlock it from within WordPress’ Site–>Upgrades–Domains.

  From the chat bot, they say this could be due to not having admin privileges, but I am able to navigate to the Admin site and my user account is the only one associated with the domain.

  I am at a complete loss and extremely frustrated that I cannot simply transfer this domain, nor speak with anyone in support without paying $300 for an annual business plan.

  Please advise how I can move this domain to another registrar.

  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  I should also mention that I don’t even see the domain name listed under Domains. It shows the SITE name under domains domainxyz.wordpress.com but it does not show as a standalone domain name that can be transferred, detached or in any way disassociated with WordPress.

  I do not care about retaining the site, I just want the domain name moved to a new registrar.
