transfer domain

    I wanted to transfer my existing domain from my registar Godaddy to WordPress.com
    Is this possible?

    I want to avoid the domain name and mapping cost.
    Blog url: http://tkbblog.wordpress.com/

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I’m sorry, we currently don’t take incoming domain transfers. Though you can map your domain to your WordPress.com blog instead. Please go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.

    Please take a look at the following guide before going through the process.

    WordPress.COM is not set up to accept incoming domain name transfers, you will need to keep the domain name registered with a different registrar – I don’t know how much Godaddy registration costs but you might look around for a less expensive registrar and see what you can find.

    Even if the domain name was registered with WordPress.COM you would still need to pay for domain mapping if you want the domain name to map to one of your blogs.
