Transfer domain after I canceled it.
-
Hi there!
I’d love som help.. I ended my business package like an hour ago and with that my domain was canceled so now I wonder if it’s still possible to get the EPP code even though it has been removed? Because I desperately need it.. And I can’t get it myself trough my domains now since it has been removed.
Best regards,
Linnéa

It’s not a good idea to cancel a domain and lose ownership if you still want to use that domain elsewhere. The usual route is to transfer the domain to another Registrar whilst you still own the domain. However if you created and cancelled the domain all on the same day it MAY get released and be available to purchase elsewhere in a few days. I have added a modlook tag to ask if a member of staff could advise you in due course.

No I see that now, I didn’t really think about it, but lesson learned!
Anyway thank you very much for your respons and thank you for the mod look tag didn’t know about that either./Linnéa

@shredtime10 can you clarify which domain you’re hoping to get back? I can see you registered and cancelled, then registered another and cancelled it.

So I need to use the shredtimeclothing.com for another web hotel, which I can’t do right now since it’s locked to this parked site on wordpress, they told me to get the EPP key/code from you so I could transfer it.
Shortly said:
It’s shredtime.com
or as it’s called right now shredtimeclothing.wordpress.com

Thanks for providing the domain.
they told me to get the EPP key/code from you so I could transfer it.
They should also have told you it is not possible to transfer any new domain during the first 60 days after it has been registered. That is not our rule, but an ICANN regulation that applies to all domains registered with any provider.
So you have two options here:
1) We restore the domain to your account, which we can still do for the next 3 days. We can then help you point it to another hosting provider by using custom name servers or the other provider’s IP address. And once you’ve owned it for 60 days you’ll be able to transfer it away from us.
Also note that if you choose this option, we’ll need to send you a link to pay for the domain again, as your original payment has already been refunded.
2) You wait a few days. As you cancelled the domain on the same day your registered it, it should be released again early next week at which point it becomes available again to register as a new domain at any domain provider. There is a very small risk that someone else will register the domain when it becomes available, but that is very unlikely.
How would you like to proceed?

Thank you very much for the answer, I think I’ll stick to the easy choice and wait a couple of days until it’s released.
Appreciate the help a lot!
Best regards,
Linnéa
