Transfer domain and redirect URL

  Hi,

  I have booked a domain from a third party site. Now I want to transfer my WP blog to this new domain name. Will my olders posts (for eg. http://withjeanie.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/post1) be automatically redirected to the new URL (http://withjeanie.com/2009/09/25/post1) ?

  If you have wordpress on the new host, you can export your blog as XML and then import it to a new wordpress install. See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
