transfer domain and update current web page with wordpress

    Hello
    I have web page and hosted at another company. How I transfer my web hosting to wordpress and create&update my current web site. How I do that ?

    Hi there,

    To transfer a site from somewhere else to WordPress.com, you first need to create a new free site here with us. Then you export your content from the other site, and import it here. We have a detailed guide on how this works, here:

    You won’t be able to transfer your domain to us, so will need to keep that registered at your current domain provider, but you can connect your domain here using the domain mapping upgrade included in all our plans.

    First purchase a plan at My Site ->Plans, and then add the domain mapping via My Site ->Domains ->Add. Only do this step after you’ve transferred all your content to us, as the moment you switch the domain to point to our servers the current site will go offline and you won’t be able to import from it any more.
