Transfer Domain and Webhosting

  Hi support, if I already have an exciting domain name and website hosting in another company. How can I transfer it to WP? I saw I can transfer the domain name but does it include the web hosting as well? And what happen to my current site after transfer? Do I need to redesign my website again? Thanks!

  We have different plans; each plan consists of free domain credit, which can be used either to register or map/transfer an existing domain to WordPress.com.

  WordPress.com is a fully-hosted platform—you get web hosting and the domain.

  To transfer your existing domain, it should be at least 60 days old. Check out the guide.

  Once you migrate your content from your current web hosting to WordPress.com, you can pick any of the premium themes for a better design.

  But if you want to use your current theme, you require a Business plan—it allows you to upload custom themes and plugins.
