Transfer Domain Back To GoDaddy with Free Plan

  I transferred a custom domain name of mine from GoDaddy to WordPress. I had the WordPress Business Plan.

  I had experienced very many issues with WordPress and decided to cancel my Business Plan and am back on the Free Plan.

  Now, in the ‘domains’ section, my custom domain is not appearing, even though I know it is still registered with WordPress from what the WHOIS database says. I cannot contact any happiness engineers about my problem on the Free Plan, and have contacted Automattic Support with no response.

  How can I transfer the domain name I own back to GoDaddy?

  Any responses would be appreciated.

  (I have already asked this question once to the public forum, but my account says it doesn’t exist so I have written it again)
