transfer domain but privacy setting does not allow

  I am trying to transfer my domain but it won’t allow it because the domain is set to private. I am not able to change the domain to public. Please help.

  Hi there,

  You don’t need to keep the site itself public, but you will need to temporarily disable private domain registration while the domain is being transferred. Unfortunately this isn’t something we have control over.

  Once it’s been transferred, your new registrar should be able to assist you with private registration options.
