Transfer domain from godaddy to wordpress?

  So, I pay GoDaddy for my domain every year and have it forwarded to my free wordpress blog. That’s fine, I just don’t want to have to manage from GoDaddy and wordpress. Is there a way to transfer my domain so I pay wordpress for the domain? That way I don’t have to deal with GoDaddy anymore.

  I’m not super tech savvy so please use simple terms to tell me what to do.

  Hi @fleurtyherald – At this time you are not able to transfer your domain into WordPress.com. You will need to renew your domain annually through GoDaddy and then also renew your Domain Mapping here at WordPress.com in order to continue using your domain here.
