Transfer domain from to WordPress

  I am trying to transfer my domain to WordPress. The instructions are not helpful.
  My sites > Manage > Domains. These three steps do not arrive to the page that is listed in the instructions to Transfer Domains.

  It looks like it’s an old version of the website.

  You don’t need to transfer your domain for it to work with WordPress

  Hi, the steps you mention should let you be able to transfer the domain you own to WordPress. When you get to the manage domain page, just below the notification bell should be a button calling you to add a domain you own. see here

  Hi there,

  What domain are you trying to transfer, and to which site?

  You have two sites in your account: A WordPress.com site, https://myesotericworlddotcom.wordpress.com/, and a self-hosted WordPress site connected here via the Jetpack plugin, https://myesotericworld.com/.

  The domain management screen will only appear for the WordPress.com site, not for the Jetpack-connected site, as we have no control over your domain on that site.

  So make sure after you click on My Sites you click on Switch Site and select the correct site before you go to the domains screen.
