Transfer domain from WordPress to Shopify

  Hi

  I would like to transfer my WordPress domain name to my shopify store, however I can’t seem to find any information on how to properly move it over. Is there anyway to do this? Or should I try to transfer it to a hosting service such as GoDaddy and do it from there?

  Shopify does not accept domain transfers, but you can keep a domain registered at WordPress.com and point the A records there with our assistance. Alternately, you can transfer your domain to another registrar and then update the A records with the new registrar.
