Transfer domain from WordPress To Squarespace

  Hi I need urgent help. Trying to transfer a domain with a WordPress site to Squarespace. I need to unlock the domain from WordPress etc. But cannot find anywhere in the dashboard to do that. On the forums it says to go to a place but I don’t have that on my dashboard. Please help!!!

  Hi there,

  Here is how you can transfer a domain to another registrar: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration

  Please note that according to Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), it is not possible to transfer a domain for 60 days following the registration date or for the 60 day period following a previous transfer.

  Thanks, but I don’t have that menu or those options?!

  Im in a wordpress admin area and the page doesn’t look anything like this. I need to get to domain options but don’t have them.

  Hi there,

  There is also a classic admin area in WordPress.com, but I think you are using self-hosted WordPress software from WordPress.org. Could you please share your site address so that I can check that for you? 🙂

  I can see your domain sariopartners.com is not registered on WordPress.com. Your registrar is 123-Reg Limited (https://www.123-reg.co.uk).

  You need to contact them to help you with transferring your domain to Squarespace.
