transfer domain from wp.com to bluehost

  I am trying to transfer my blog from wp.com to wp.org. I have hosting through Bluehost.com. My domain transfer to them has been rejected by Wild West Domains. I followed every step in the process, including retrieving the key, and un-privatizing the domain.

  I read in another thread that wordpress have to switch off the status: Private Registration, which is blocking the transfer.
