Transfer Domain + Hosting

    My website already uses the WordPress platform. I already have all of my website content on WordPress. It is all accessible by my WordPress account. However, I currently use SiteGround for hosting. I’d like to transfer my hosting + domain over to WordPress. When I was looking into it it said to transfer all content over to WordPress before officially transferring the domain so that no content would be lost. However, I’m wondering if that’s necessary since it’s already all here. Would love to know exactly what steps I need to take in order to transfer over to WordPress hosting.

    Your content won’t be here. Here is the host WordPress.com. Your content may be built with the wordpress software but it will be over there on Sitegrounds servers. So yes you’d need to move domain and content to a site here (with a paid plan).
