Hi there,
Sure thing! I just transferred the domain mapping for thechefette.com to your blog ladychefette.wordpress.com.
In the future, you can also transfer domains and other upgrades between blogs from your My Upgrades page.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

I’m sorry but even though my domain has be moved it is still mapped to the old site. I don’t understand.

when you go to thechefette.com you land on the homepage of thekickb.com. i want it to point to https://ladychefette.wordpress.com/

WordPress needs to offer live chat support. I had a lot to get done to day an I’ve just been stuck waiting for this domain issue to be resolved.

I reviewed the settings for ladychefette.wordpress.com and I found that domain mapping for thechefette.com is setup there on the WordPress.com side. You can see the settings here:
https://ladychefette.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domainsIn order to make domain mapping work properly for a domain that was originally purchased through another company, you must also change the DNS to point the name server to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM.
If you would like thechefette.com to be the primary domain for ladychefette.wordpress.com then the next step is to go to the company where thechefette.com was purchased and ask them to help you verify that the name servers are set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM.

I’ve already don’t that like 5 hours ago. Nothing happened. The domain is still mapped to the other blog site

I can take quite a bit of time for a name server change to go through. When a change is made, it is updated in the master database. After that, each internet provider can pick up the change at varying intervals. That’s why people will often tell you to wait a day or so after the change for it to begin working in most places.
If you have already updated the name servers, the next step is to wait for those changes to take effect. How long it takes will depend on how quickly the internet provider at your location picks up the change.

Sounds good!
Once the name server settings have updated for you, you can make thechefette.com the primary domain using this page in your dashboard:
https://ladychefette.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domainsIf it’s not working tomorrow, I would suggest contacting your registrar and asking them to help you verify that the name servers are correctly pointing only to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM and that no other forwarding or masking is in place (the name server setting is enough).

Hi there.
Your WordPress.com site’s now viewable at thechefette.com on my end. :) Here’s a screenshot of what I’m seeing when visiting that domain:
Can you let me know if the change has gone through on your end now, also? If not, please clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Sometimes browsers can store old history for each site you’ve visited in its cache, clearing this forces it to refresh and bring in the latest information for your site.
Let me know if that helps. If you’re still not seeing your WordPress.com site at that domain, we can troubleshoot further.
