Transfer domain mapping between wordpress.com sites

  I’d like to unmap a custom domain from one wordpress.com site and transfer it over to another wordpress.com site.

  Currently, http://www.apaconvention.com redirects to 2011apaconvention.wordpress.com but I’d like to have it point to 2013apaconvention.wordpress.com. I’ve gone into the 2011 site and made the wordpress.com domain the primary, but I can’t seem to get the apaconvention.com domain out of that site in order to add it to the 2013 site.

  You should be able to transfer the domain mapping to the new site yourself

  Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> Mouse over the upgrade and click on the Transfer button – follow the directions – be VERY careful with your spelling –

  Should transfer – if you have trouble we can get the staff to move it for you also
